In 2007, our co-CEO Tiago Guimarães led a pioneering project with the installation of the first WEMO robot in Spain for our client Plásticos Clossa.
Plásticos Clossa is a Basque company dedicated to the injection of plastic parts for demanding sectors such as the automotive industry. Even back in 2007, they trusted AGI to develop solutions that would optimise their production through the implementation of WEMO Cartesian robots on their injection moulding machines.
WEMO is a renowned Swedish manufacturer of servo-driven Cartesian robots that improve injection moulding processes through part extraction, runner cutting, insert placement, and other similar operations.

🔧 Results of the WEMO implementation
It has been 18 years since the first installation of a WEMO robot at Plásticos Clossa, and in 2025 it will be replaced by new equipment with even more advanced features, capable of meeting the growing demands of manufacturing processes.
